James Grigsby

Solar Maxima

The 13 compositions of Solar Maxima reflect moods and ideas associated with our Sun. Grigsby's music conjures visions of Apollo the sun god, ruminates over the 11 year solar cycle and its maximal solar flares, ponders the sun's terrestrial effects during dawn and dusk, and traces the Hopi prophecies of star-beings.  For his second solo album, Grigsby once again teams up with sound designer Tim Corpus to realize his stellar compositions.
